Knots: Healthy knots up to a diameter of 3 mm, and dark knots up to a diameter of 1 mm are permitted, except for those in groups.
Red heartwood: Not permitted.
ASH Rustic
Character: It is characterized by accentuated colors, red heartwood, knots and a vivid texture.
Knot: A healthy knot, up to a diameter of 10 mm, is permitted.
Red heartwood: Dark tone and red heartwood is permitted even across the whole slat width.
JATOBA
Character: Unclassified quality. The wooden material features varied color effects and dynamic texture resulting from natural growth. Light whitish spottiness is not permitted.
Sapwood: Not permitted
Knot: Healthy, well intergrown branch knots up to a diameter of about 5 mm, are permitted..
DANUBE OAK Natur
Character: Course texture and prominent grain having rather dynamic colors, with darker and lighter slats resulting from the natural growth of the tree, but without harsh color variations. It has large number of conspicuous medullary rays.
Knot: Well intergrown knots, up to a diameter of 4-5 mm, are permitted. Dark knot is permitted, up to a diameter of 1 mm
Sapwood: Prominent, conspicuous sapwood is not permitted. Discoloration caused by a frost rib is not permitted.
DANUBE OAK Rustic
Character: Highly variable in texture and color, it contains knots, sapwood and brownish discoloration resembling red heartwood.
Knot: Group knots are permitted as well as intergrown branch knots up to a diameter of 10 mm.
Sapwood: It is permitted up to the half of the slat width. Bluish stain of natural origin, near a frost rib is permitted.
Canadian MAPLE Natur
Character: Its color is defined by the natural growth of the tree – with darker and lighter slats, but without harsh color variations. Up to 10 mm long and 1.5 mm wide resin duct, a dark stripe is permitted.
Knot: It is permitted, up to a diameter of 3 mm, if its color is same as that of the background’s.
Red heartwood: Not permitted.
Canadian MAPLE Rustic
Character: Highly variable in texture and color, it contains knots, red heartwood and blackish resin stripes.
Knot: Well intergrown branch knots up to a diameter of 10 mm, even dark ones, are permitted.
Red heartwood: Red heartwood is permitted.
Steamed BEECH Natur
Character: Dark tone. It is characteristic of the color effect defined by its natural growth, that can mean the mixture of dark and light slats, and sometimes the spottiness of the slat itself. Particularly striking, harsh textural and color variations are not permitted.
Knot: Well intergrown knots, up to a diameter of 3 mm, are permitted, except for those in groups. Dark knot is permitted, up to a diameter of 1 mm
Red heartwood: Not permitted
Steamed BEECH Rustic
Character: It is characterized by accentuated colors, red heartwood, knots and a vivid texture. Inbark or asphyxiation is not permitted. Near-asphyxiation discolorations, that do not impair the nature of the material, are permitted.
Knot: A healthy knot up to a diameter of 10 mm is permitted
Red heartwood: Permitted even across the whole slat width.
MERBAU
Character: Unclassified quality. Featuring varied color effects and dynamic texture resulting from natural growth, with yellowish deposition in its pores.
Sapwood: Not permitted.
Knot: Healthy, well intergrown knots, up to a diameter of about 5 mm, are permitted.

Character: Darker tint with varied color effects resulting from natural growth and the steaming process. Featuring dynamic texture with knots and wartiness.

American WALNUT Rustic
Character: The wood features especially varied colors, dotted with sapwood and knots.
Knot: Their size, amount and color is not limited.
Sapwood: Even whitish and greyish colors, that are conspicuously different from the color of the background, are permitted. Practically almost each lamella contains sapwood.
Steamed CHERRY Natur
Character: Diverse color effects resulting from natural growth and steaming. Dynamic texture.
Knot: Well intergrown knot up to a diameter of 10 mm, except for a black one.
Sapwood: Permitted, if its color is not conspicuously different from the color of the background.

According to the EN 13489 standard, 3 % of different grade than indicated is acceptable.
